To establish programs to uplift, encourage and empower families to break failure cycles and the power of sin.
To develop and deploy businesses that perpetuate progress generation after generation.
To encourage racial harmony while allowing cultural diversity to express the beauty of all people groups.
To share any and all success with those who demonstrate sincere concern for all people.
To give all the glory to God, as we submit to one another in the fear of the Lord, working diligently to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
CFFC is called to bring Unity to the body of Christ. This unity must first begin with each individual member. We should be whole; spirit, soul and body, to fully represent Christ to the world.
Christian Faith Fellowship Church began in the heart of, then Evangelist, Darrell L. Hines. God showed him a vision of a church that was filled with people from different socioeconomic backgrounds, with their hands lifted up, praising their God. As he beheld the beauty & unity of their praise and worship, he wondered – “Where is this church? This is something I want to be a part of." God spoke to his heart. “Darrell this is the church I have called you to Pastor.” From that very moment, the vision never left his heart as he continued to travel around the country and abroad, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. After the strong growth of CFFC in Milwaukee the Vision God showed Bishop Hines began to manifest in other areas of this region. It all began one Sunday morning at the Wixom Auditorium, in Waukegan. The church began to take root in the North Shore area, where the presence and power of God could be felt. In the summer of 1994, James and Deborah were ordained and installed as First Assistant Pastors of Christian Faith Fellowship Church Waukegan along side Bishop Darrell and Pastor Pamela Hines. As the church continued to grow, as did the demand for Pastor Hines' preaching increased around the country. By the end of 1996, it became clear to Pastor Hines that God was releasing the church into the hands of Pastors Logan. In January of 1997, James and Deborah Logan became the Pastors of Christian Faith Fellowship Church – Waukegan. God continued adding to the church as the membership swelled to over 400. God released Pastor James from his job at Abbott Laboratories in August 1997. By years end, God spoke to Pastor James about a Building Fund. Out of his obedience to God, a building fund drive began in January of 1998. The next month, Pastors Logan began looking for a home for the congregation. Nothing seemed suitable with the rapid growth they were experiencing. Pastor Logan felt led of the Lord to have a real estate agent send letters to local churches, in the North Shore area, who might be thinking of relocating or just simply needed to sell. After a few weeks, a building became available in Zion, Illinois. While in prayer God said, to Pastor James, “Go to Zion and take the reproach off my name.” The rest will be written in glory as we pursue the call and plan that God has for our lives. CFFC Waukegan then became CFFC Zion “The Church of the Acts”. Through Faith and Action Bishop E. James Logan has truly set a loving and Godly example through faith, love and works for the church, community and region on how to live as a “Church of the Acts”.
James Logan is familiar with the presence and power of God, after having almost died prematurely as an infant from asthma God spared James’ life. Growing up sickly and weak James found it difficult to do many of the things ordinary children did.
As a result he found comfort in prayer, bible reading and the presence of God!
Once again at the age of 10 James life was challenged by asthma but again by the grace of God his life was spared and this would be the last time asthma would rear its head.
As a child James found himself drawn to the altar giving his life to Christ.
Upon baptism after coming up from the water he would see a heavenly vision of glory that would forever affect his life! From there he would encounter the drug culture and his life would spiral out of control for years until God would again supernaturally get his attention through a vision. This vision would prove powerful enough for James to turn back to The Lord and recommit his life. After having served in the United States Army and moving to the Chicago land area James joined Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and renewed a passion for Christ that would take him from faith to faith.
Using the training he received from the military, seminary and the Joint College of African American Bishops James serves in many areas, and functions in many leadership roles with his wife Deborah.
For over 20 years James Logan has faithfully followed The Lamb and as Senior Pastor of Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Zion, Illinois, Prelate Christian Faith Fellowship of Churches and member of the Joint College of African American Bishops this servant to leaders, pastor, husband of 25 years and father of two born again children has authored books, training manuals and traveled internationally ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ through radio, TV and the Internet with documented miracles of healing and deliverance all for the glory of God.
Pastor Deborah J. Logan is the Co-Pastor of Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Zion, Illinois; along with her loving husband Bishop E. James Logan. Pastors James and Deborah were ordained and installed as First Assistant Pastors of Christian Faith Fellowship Church Waukegan in 1994 under the tutelage of Bishop Darrell and Pastor Pamela Hines. In January of 1997, James and Deborah Logan became the Pastors of Christian Faith Fellowship Church Waukegan, now known as Christian Faith Fellowship Church-Zion. God has given her an extraordinary anointing and the gift of discernment to minister to the needs of women. She also has deep insight and revelation into the books of Genesis and Proverbs.
Pastor Deborah is adorned with a spirit of excellence. Her work throughout the ministry is done joyfully, with a humble heart, giving all glory and honor to God. She is extremely generous and full of wisdom. She truly is the “Proverbs Woman.”
Pastor Deborah has been happily married to Bishop James for thirty years. Together they have two beautiful children; Cameron James and Llexis Charity.
As God continues to use this husband and wife team to build ministries that will meet the needs of this generation in their surrounding community, He is also expanding that vision to extend to the entire world.
On July 16, 2003, Pastor Deborah Logan had the honor of opening in prayer for the 108th session of Congress.
You will be blessed as you receive from this couple called, chosen, and anointed for these last days. May your destiny become clearer than ever as God reveals more of himself to you through these His servants.
CFFC is called to bring unity to the body of Christ. This unity must first begin with each individual member.
We should be whole; spirit, soul and body, to fully represent Christ to the world.
